Men's soccer player Dan Corti (Amawalk/Somers) was named the Buffalo Sate Athlete of the Week. The junior goalkeeper turned aside 16 of the 17 shots he faced this weekend as he guided the Bengals to a runner-up finish at the Johns Hopkins Classic. Corti made seven saves in a 2-1 win over DeSales, and had nine stops in his first collegiate shutout, a 0-0 draw against Washington & Lee.
