Buffalo State's men's soccer team is ranked eighth in the Northeast Region according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll released earlier today.

The Bengals are 11-1-2 overall and sit atop the SUNYAC with a 5-1 conference record. The Bengals earned home conference victories this past weekend over Potsdam, 1-0, and Plattsburgh, 3-1, who was ranked eighth in the nation at the time.

Buffalo State has already ensured its first winning record since going 14-3-1 in 1984, and is still on pace for its best record since 1970, the last time Buffalo State won a SUNYAC title.

The Bengals have just three regular season games remaining. They will travel to Geneseo and Brockport on Friday and Saturday respectively, before finishing at home next Wednesday against Fredonia.
