Men's Swimming and Diving Named Academic All-America Team

Buffalo State's men's swimming and diving team was named an Academic All-America Team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for the seventh consecutive semester for the fall of 2004.

The team posted an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.04. Diver Bret Stodolka (Darien/Alexander) led the Bengals, posting a 4.00 grade-point-average as a graduate student in the math education program.

The Bengals will compete in their final meet of the regular season this Saturday against Brockport at home at 1 p.m. The meet will serve as the final tune-up before the SUNYAC Championships at Erie Community College's Flickinger Center on February 9-12.
