Monaco Earns Women's Soccer All-Conference Honors
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its All-Conference players for women's soccer on Thursday evening at the Hall of Fame Soccer Complex in Oneonta, NY, and Buffalo State sophomore Gina Monaco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) was named to the Second Team.
This is the second time Monaco has earned All-Conference honors as she received Honorable Mention status last year as a freshman. In 10 conference games this season, she led the Bengals with seven goals and 15 points, and accounted for more than 40-percent of the team's offense. Overall, she tallied a school record 25 goals and 53 points in 19 games and became the Bengals' all-time leading scorer with 98 points in just two seasons.
Buffalo State posted a 3-7 conference record with wins over SUNYIT, New Paltz and Potsdam.
