Muise, Roper Compete at NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships

Justin Muise (Kenmore/Kenmore West) and Mercedes Roper (Buffalo/City Honors) lined up along side the nation's best today at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Muise, a sophomore, placed 11th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.22. Roper, a freshman, finished 12th in the 55-meter dash, clocking 7.34.

Today officially marked the end of the 2004 indoor season for the Bengals. Muise and Roper will join their teammates to open the outdoor season at the Emory University Invitational at Georgia Tech on March 26 and 27.
