In the News: Buffalo State Fashion Is 'Dressed to Thrill'

Students and faculty within Buffalo State’s Fashion and Textile Technology (FTT) Department created a cotton dress covered in the logo of Artvoice, the city’s arts and entertainment weekly. That dress, donned by model Grace Modi, landed on the cover of the publication’s August 14 issue with an accompanying article featuring an interview with FTT associate professor and department chair Lynn Boorady about the history of the program, the new state-of-the art technology available to its students, and the department’s immense growth in recent years.
