In the News: 'A Conversation with Pending Buffalo State President'
WBFO-FM news reporter Eileen Buckley recently interviewed Dr. Katherine Conway-Turner, who has been recommended as Buffalo State’s ninth president pending approval by the SUNY board of trustees.
Conway-Turner spoke about her academic career, her views on the importance of education, and what she will bring to Buffalo State.
Asked to describe herself, Conway-Turner said, “I’m someone who really loves the process of education and embraces its transformative aspects.”
When discussing Buffalo State’s future she said, “I think the sky is the limit…I think we can hook our arms together and find ways to do tremendous work in Buffalo...I’m eager to bring everything that I’ve done in the last 28 years to bear on moving Buffalo State and also the community forward.”
