In the News: Percussion Workshop

Bill Cahn, principal percussionist in the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra from 1968 to 1995 and associate professor of percussion at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester since 2006, taught the first of two Creative Music Making workshops at Buffalo State on October 17.

According to Cahn’s blog post, 21 student participants had the opportunity to play in trio and quartet improvised pieces.
