EdPrepMatters, a blog published by the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE), highlighted the School of Education’s Professional Development School (PDS) Consortium in a recent post.
Buffalo State’s PDS is included in the Innovations Inventory, an online database highlighting AACTE institutions that demonstrate exciting new ways to prepare tomorrow’s teachers.
In the post, author Kristin McCabe noted that the PDS at Buffalo State offers a “supportive cohort community for teacher candidates, minigrants for action research in the schools, and even international partner settings.” The article also described student-teacher cohorts, the associated minigrant program, and international service-learning sites.
