Outdoor Track & Field Runs With Some of the Nation's Best at Duke University Invitational

DURHAM, NC--Buffalo State's outdoor track & field athlete went head-to-head with some of the nation's top athletes over the last two days at the Duke University Invitational.

Willie Hordge (Buffalo/Forestbrook TX) was the top finisher for the Bengals, placing third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.56. Toya Edwards (Brooklyn/Clara Barton) added a 10th-place showing in the women's version of the 200-meter dash in 25.62.

North Carolina State, U. of North Carolina, Wake Forest, Virginia and Maryland were among the competition at the predominantly Division I meet.

Buffalo State will compete at the Slippery Rock University Invitational next weekend.
