Penn State Behrend Drops Mens Soccer 3-1
Buffalo State lost a 3-1 decision against non-conference opponent Penn State Behrend today at Coyer Field. The Bengals drop to 4-8-2 overall with the loss.
The Lions led 1-0 at the half, and increased their lead to 2-0 in the 59th minute of the game. The Bengals would cut the lead to one with 39 minutes to play when Brian Miller (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) scored his 12 goal of the season assisted by Erick Hansen (Irving/Lakeshore) and Dennis Behrens (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield). The Lions would seal the victory with 18 minutes to play.
Dave Grant (Tonawanda, Kenmore East) and Kevin Senator (Scottsville/Wheatland-Chili) each played a half in net for the Bengals. Grant recorded three saves, Senator had four in the game.
The Bengals return to action on Friday for a conference road matchup against Cortland at 3:00 p.m.
