Potter, Hathcock Earn Weekly ECAC Football Honors
Buffalo State safety Mike Potter (Allegany/Salamanca) and running back Curtis Hathcock (Buffalo/Bennett) were both named to the ECAC Northwest Honor Roll after their performances in Saturday's 33-23 loss to Division I-AA Robert Morris.
Potter, a junior, scored the Bengals first touchdown after he blocked a punt and recovered the ball in the end zone on just the fourth play of game from scrimmage. He also registered a game-high 14 tackles, including six solo stops.
Hathcock began his senior season with 21 carries for 112 yards and had one reception for eight yards. It was the second 100-yard rushing game of his career.
