Sirianni Named SUNYAC Softball Player of the Week

Buffalo State's Nadine Sirianni (Niagara Falls) was named the SUNYAC Softball Player of the Week.

The junior centerfielder was 11-for-21 (.524) over the six-game stretch as the Bengals posted a 5-1 record. Sirianni pounded three doubles, a triple and a homerun with 10 RBI and seven runs scored. She helped lead Buffalo State to sweeps over conference rivals Oneonta and New Paltz.

Sirianni is currently second on the team with a .361 batting average and leads the Bengals with seven doubles, 21 RBI, and a .569 slugging percentage. Buffalo State is currently 12-8 overall and is tied for second in the SUNYAC with a 6-2 conference mark.
