Softball Player Aimee Fisher
Freshman softball pitcher Aimee Fisher (Hamburg/Frontier) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The freshman forensic chemistry major helped the Bengals to a 9-3 start on their spring trip to Ft. Myers, Fla. Fisher pitched a perfect game against St. Lawrence in her collegiate debut and went 5-1 with a 1.09 ERA and 42 strikeouts. She also jumped out to a fast start at the plate with eight hits, including two doubles and a triple and leads the team with 12 RBIs.
Fisher and the Bengals will open conference play this Friday at SUNYIT.
