Buffalo State (6-6-1) held a pair of leads, but could not hang on either time, as visiting St. John Fisher rallied with three goals in the second half for a 3-2 win today at Coyer Field.

Gina Monaco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) opened the scoring in the 28th minute with an unassisted goal. Fisher got on the board early in the second half, but Monaco scored again, just minutes later with an assist from Keriann Claussen (Santa Rosa, CA/Ursuline). The Cardinals evened the score in the 60th minute, and took their first lead in the 73rd minute.

Buffalo State outshot the Cardinals 14-12. Katie Melsert (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa) made four saves for Buffalo State.
