Buffalo State's swimming and diving teams completed the first day of the Grove City James Longnecker Invitational today with both teams currently occupying seventh place in the nine-team meet.

The day's highlights included Nicole Rutkowski (Williamsville/Williamsville North) placing second in the three-meter diving competition with a score of 221.30. Sara Weinert (S. Byron/Byron-Bergen) also had a strong showing in the 500 free with an 11th place showing in 5:41.02.

Buffalo State will wrap up the meet tomorrow before breaking for the holidays.
