Buffalo State's Jessica Thieme (Roselle, IL/Lake Park) was named the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) West Women’s Hockey Rookie of the Week.

The freshman scored a pair of goals and an assist in the Bengals’ 6-1 victory over Castleton last weekend. Thieme has tallied five goals and three assists this season.

The Bengals will return to the ice when they travel for a pair of conference games against Neumann this Saturday and Sunday.
