Track Athlete Justin Muise
Sprinter Justin Muise (Kenmore/Kenmore West) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore represented Buffalo State at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. on Saturday, and finished sixth in the finals of the 400m dash in 47.90.
Muise became the first Buffalo State track and field All-American since Daryl Brownlee and Lamar Smith both earned the distinction in 1986. Muise ran a time of 47.96 in the preliminaries to qualify for the finals.
