Track Athlete Justin Muise
Track performer Justin Muise (Kenmore/Kenmore West) was named Buffalo State's Athlete of the Week.
The freshman phenom won the 400m dash at the Campbell/Wright Open at the University of Akron with a Buffalo State record time of 47.06. Muise won the race against Division I competition including runners from Akron, Ohio State, Toledo and Kent State. The previous school record was 47.60 by Buffalo State Hall of Famer Neil Hall in 1986.
Muise is continuing to prepare for the NCAA Division III Championships at St. Lawrence later this month.
