Track athletes Mercedes Roper (City Honors), Desi Gibson (Edison Tech), Linda Williams (Edison Tech), and Keyia Thompkins (Edison Tech) were named the Buffalo State Athletes of the Week.

The 4x100-meter relay team eclipsed an 18-year-old Buffalo State record, clocking 49.65 at the Emory Classis on the campus of Georgia Tech on Saturday. The previous mark was 50.90, set in 1986.
