Buffalo State remains winless at the RIT Invitational this weekend, dropping matches to Brockport and Clarkson earlier today.
The Bengals dropped their first match of the day, 3-0, to Brockport. Keri Bumgardner (Babylon/West Babylon) led the charge for the Bengals, tallying 11 kills and five digs. Sarah Ingham (Lewiston/Niagara Catholic) added seven kills and two service aces.
In the second match, the Bengals were defeated 3-0 by Clarkson. Jen Breier (Grand Island/Grand Island) notched 12 kills and eight digs while teammate Lauren Wright registered 26 assists is the losing effort.
Buffalo State falls to 1-13 overall. The Bengals are back in action this Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Sports Arena when they face Nazareth.
