Volleyball Drops a Pair at SUNYAC Challenge
Buffalo State (2-29/0-6) lost a pair of matches to open the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play in Oswego today, falling in straight games to Brockport and Fredonia.
Brockport topped the Bengals in the opener, 30-11, 30-17 and 30-22. Jen Breier (Grand Island/Grand Island) had six kills and six digs for the Bengals, and Sam Damstetter (W. Seneca/W. Seneca East) added seven digs.
In the nightcap, Fredonia bested Buffalo State, 30-15, 30-21 and 30-14. Keri Bumgardner (Babylon/W. Babylon) had eight digs for the Bengals.
Buffalo State will wrap up SUNYAC play tomorrow against Geneseo and Oswego.
