Buffalo State came up empty at University of Rochester tonight, dropping its sixth consecutive match, losing in straight games, 24-30, 20-30 and 15-30.

Krista Wierzbicki (Cheektowaga/Maryvale) paced the Bengals with 28 assists and 14 digs. Vicky Manos (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) recorded 11 kills and nine digs, and Denise Jedynak (Hamburg/Frontier) had 14 digs.

Buffalo State will finally play its home opener this Thursday when it hosts St. John Fisher at 7 p.m. in the Sports Arena.
