Volleyball Player Vicky Manos
Volleyball player Vicky Manos (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The senior outside hitter led the Bengals to a 2-2 mark in the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play with wins over Oswego and Geneseo. Manos pounded out 88 kills in four matches including 26 against Geneseo. In addition, she served eight aces, had 50 digs, and 10 blocks.
