Volleyball Wins Third Straight, Tops D'Youville
Buffalo State won its third consecutive match tonight, returning from D'Youville with a five-game victory.
The Bengals won the match by scores of 30-18, 30-26, 24-30, 18-30 and 15-8. Jen Breier (Grand Island/Grand Island) led the Bengals with 12 kills, six digs and six blocks. Keri Bumgardner (Babylon/W. Babylon) added 10 kills and five service aces, and Lauren Wright (Westfield/Westfield) had 41 assists.
Buffalo State improved to 5-20 on the season and will travel to Fredonia this weekend for the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play.
