This weekend, alumni from Buffalo State's student-run radio station, WBNY 91.3-FM, will retake the airwaves.

Beginning Friday, April 23, former WBNY dj's will be spinning blasts from the past and taking donations for the station all weekend long.

On Sunday, April 25, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., local musicians and WBNY alums will join together for an afternoon of fundraising and live music. "Rebellious Jukebox" will feature impromptu versions of caller requests live-to-air in the WBNY studio.

Also on Sunday, WBNY's 2010 Battle of the Bands takes place in Campbell Student Union Social Hall. The show starts at 2:00 p.m. Competing groups include Fighting for First, The Karma Salesmen, With Life Comes Death, The Square Circle, and Larrabe. Special guests include Brent Persia and DJ Arehouse. Admission is one canned food item to support the AIDS Alliance of WNY.
