Wierzbicki Named SUNYAC Volleyball Player of the Week
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced Krista Wierzbicki (Cheektowaga/Maryvale) as the Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for week ending Oct. 13, 2002.
Wierzbicki led Buffalo State as the Bengals defeated Rochester on Tuesday and won the Hiram Invitational over the weekend, defeating Medaille, Pitt-Bradford and Hiram. On the week, the junior setter recorded a total of 136 assists, seven aces, 42 digs and had zero service errors. Last week, she was fifth in the conference in assists with 8.10 per game and tied for first with .63 service aces per game.
Buffalo State is 16-8, 2-2 SUNYAC.
