Wine Weekend 2009:

Friday, June 5
Fourth Annual “A Toast to the City” Wine Tasting
5:30 p.m–8:00 p.m.
Marcy Casino in Delaware Park
br />Taste wines from Chateau Buffalo and Southern Wine and Spirits, and sample food provided by the Seneca Niagara Casino, The 2nd Cup and more. Enjoy some music and take in the view from this unique and historic location. Proceeds benefit scholarships for Buffalo State students. Cost: $30 presale and at the door; reservations are recommended.

Saturday, June 6
Niagara Wine Trail Tour
10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Meet the bus at Cleveland Circle on the Buffalo State campus. Free parking is available in lot C and along Rockwell Road.
 
Gray Line Tours will be your guide for this excursion, which begins with a visit to Warm Lake Estate followed by Schulze Vineyard and Winery, specializing in sparkling beverages. Then it’s off to Murphy Orchards, a stop on the Underground Railroad, for lunch in the tea room.  After lunch, you’ll hear ghost stories and taste a variety of fruit wines at the Winery at Marjim Manor.  Finally, you’ll head for Spring Lake Winery for our last call.  Cost: $45 includes transportation, tastings, lunch, and the services of a driver/guide. (Driver gratuity is not included.)  Please make your reservation by June 2nd.
