CORTLAND, NY—No. 21-ranked Cortland (6-0/2-0) held visiting Buffalo State (3-4/1-1) to just 16 second-half points in a 63-40 victory in a SUNYAC game tonight at Alumni Arena.

Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) led Buffalo Sate with 11 points and nine rebounds. Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) also had 11 points.

Buffalo State never led, but trailed just 31-24 at the half. The Bengals shot just 22-percent in the second half (30-percent for the game), however, and Cortland pulled away.
