Women's Basketball Defeats Plattsburgh On Last Second Shot, 54-53

BUFFALO, NY--Senior Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) scored the game winner with .7 seconds left on the clock to lift Buffalo State (6-12/3-6) to a 54-53 victory over host Plattsburgh (4-12/2-7) in a SUNYAC game tonight at Memorial Hall.

Brooks led the Bengals with 17 points and five boards. Junior Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) added 10 points, while Ashley DeVaughn (Williamsville/Williamsville East) had a career-high 11 rebounds.

Buffalo State will travel to SUNYIT on Saturday for a 6 p.m. game.
