Women's Basketball Falls at Plattsburgh, 51-47

Buffalo State scored just 19 points in the first half, and dropped a 51-47 road decision to SUNYAC-rival Plattsburgh today.

The Bengals trailed 23-19 at halftime, and could not get its offense in gear as they finished the game with their second lowest scoring output of the season.

Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) led Buffalo State with 15 points, 11 rebounds and four steals. Tawan Slaughter (Buffalo/Christian Central) added nine points, and Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) scored seven.

Buffalo State fell to 5-11 overall and 2-5 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals will travel to Geneseo on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. tip-off.
