Women's Basketball Falls at St. John Fisher, 69-45
PITTSFORD, NY--Buffalo State (1-2) dropped its second-consecutive game tonight, falling at unbeaten St. John Fisher (3-0), 69-45, at Manning-Napier Varsity Gym.
The Cardinals never trailed after the 17:19 mark of the opening half as they ran out to a 36-20 halftime advantage. Buffalo State only came as close as 11 points in the second half.
Sophomore Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) led the Bengals with 14 points and had a career-high six rebounds. Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool) had six points and 10 rebounds, and freshman Ashley Dlugosz (Lackawanna/Immaculata) added five points and nine boards.
Buffalo State will open its SUNYAC schedule at home next Tuesday against Fredonia at 6 p.m.
