Women's Basketball Falls to Thomas More, 73-67

ERIE, PA--Despite 19 points and 11 rebounds from Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool), Buffalo State (2-5) fell to Thomas More, 73-67, tonight in the first round of the Penn State Behrend Invitational.

Buffalo State trailed 39-28 at halftime, and trailed by as many as 20 in the second half, but closed the final deficit to six. Buffalo State shot 35-percent from the field and hit just 1 of 13 from 3-point range.

Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) and Gina Apa (Buffalo/McKinley) had 15 points apiece for the Bengals, and Ashley Dlugosz (Lackawanna/Immaculata) added 10 points and nine boards.

Buffalo State will play the loser of Penn State Behrend and Grove City in tomorrow's consolation game at 1 p.m.
