BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State’s women’s basketball team will be “Thinking Pink” when it hosts Morrisville State at the Sports Arena on Feb. 22. at 6 p.m. The Bengals will tie the promotion into their women’s basketball reunion.

The WBCA's "Think Pink" initiative is a global, unified effort for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The WBCA began "Think Pink" in 2007 and more than 120 schools unified for this effort and helped make the inaugural year of the WBCA's "Think Pink" a success.

The Bengals will be wearing pink warm-ups and spectators will have the opportunity to purchase pink ribbons with the proceeds to be donated to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.

All former Buffalo State women’s basketball players are invited to attend and stay for a reunion reception following the game. Interested former players should contact Coach Sue Roarke at (716) 878-3587 or email roarkesm@buffalostate.edu .
