Women's Basketball Shoots Past Potsdam, 76-55
Buffalo State shot a season-best 58-percent from the field on route to a 76-55 victory over host Potsdam tonight.
The Bengals led 34-20 at the half and cruised to the victory, hitting on 32-of-55 field goal attempts. Jacey Brooks (Machias/Franklinville) led Buffalo State with 26 points, shooting 11-of-13, and grabbed seven rebounds. Toya Parks (Brooklyn/MLK) and Tawan Slaughter (Buffalo/Christian Central) each scored 12 points. Parks also recorded career-highs with five assists and seven steals.
Buffalo State improved to 5-10 overall and 2-4 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals will play at Plattsburgh tomorrow at 2 p.m.
