Women's hockey player Amanda Uschold (Rochester/Brighton) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

Uschold helped lead the Bengals to a pair of road wins to open the season this past weekend, as Buffalo State defeated Chatham 13-3 and 12-1. The junior forward tallied three goals and six assists for nine points in the two wins. In Sunday's game alone, Uschold registered a goal and a school record five assists.
