Women's Lacrosse End Season with Loss to Oswego, 5-3

The women's lacrosse team ended its season with a 5-3 loss against Oswego at Coyer Field earlier today.

The Bengals struck first 3:15 into the game but weren't able to hang on as Oswego scored four goals before the end of the first half. The two teams traded goals early in the second half before the Bengals scored their third goal in the final minute of the game.

Shantel Ackley (Baldwinsville/C.W.Baker), Tara Ammerman (Naples/Marcus Whitman) and Ashley Parker (Watertown/Watertown) each registered a goal for Buffalo State. Janine Forman (N.Massapequa/Plainedge) tallied 12 saves.

The Bengals finish their season at 7-6 overall and 1-6 in SUNYAC play.
