BUFFALO, NY— Buffalo State (6-8/4-4) dominated play en route to a 3-0 win over visiting Potsdam (7-7-1/2-5-1) in a SUNYAC game today at Coyer Field.

Madeline Morosey (N. Collins/N. Collins) got the Bengals on the board midway through the first half off a pass from Vicki Wagner (Elmira/Elmira Free Academy). Buffalo State would tally two more goals in the second stanza on markers by Kelsie Moran (Albany/Albany) and Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster).

Potsdam’s best scoring opportunity came in the second half when Lacey Malbeuf (Harrisville/Harrisville Central) shot the ball wide of an open net off a miscue by Buffalo State’s goalkeeper Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg).

The Bengals held a 24-3 advantage in shots. Jarrell needed to make just one save for the Bengals to earn her third shutout of the season. Sarah Casey (Potsdam/Potsdam) had 10 saves in the loss.

Buffalo State hosts Plattsburgh tomorrow at 1 p.m., while Potsdam travels to Fredonia.
