Buffalo State scored first, but host Alfred University knotted the score just over a minute later, as the Bengals and Saxons played to a 1-1 tie tonight in the final game of the season for both teams.

Buffalo State took a 1-0 lead over Alfred when Gina Monaco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) scored with an assist from Missy Balling (Tonawanda/Tonawanda) at 61:17. The Saxons pulled even just 1:42 later, and the score would stayed tied through two overtime periods. Buffalo State out-shot Alfred 21-14.

The Bengals finished the season with a record of 6-10-2.
