Women's Soccer Player Liz Jacobsen
Women's soccer player Liz Jacobsen (Gresham, OR/Sam Barlow) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The senior-transfer scored a pair of goals over the weekend to lead the Bengals to their first 2-0 start since 1985. Jacobsen tallied the game-winner in a 2-1 win over Albion on Friday, and scored the Bengals' first goal in a 4-1 win at Olivet on Saturday.
Jacobsen and the Bengals will play at RIT on Wednesday and travel to the Penn State Altoona Tournament this weekend.
