Women's Swimmer Kelly Stoklosa
Women's swimmer Kelly Stoklosa (W. Seneca/W. Seneca West) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
Stoklosa, a health and wellness major, captured a pair of SUNYAC Championships over the weekend. She touched first in the both the 100 and 200 breaststroke events, establishing new school records in each event. In the 100 breast, she broke a 15-year-old record with a time of 1:09.06. In the 200, she bested her own record by more than two seconds at 2:30.10. She also swam a leg of the 200 medley relay that also set a new school record.
Buffalo State's women finished six of nine teams at the Championship meet.
