Women's track athlete Toya Edwards (Brooklyn/Clara Barton) and men's hockey player Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) were named the Buffalo State Co-Athletes of the Week.

Edwards was honored for the second-consecutive week after earning the NYSCTC Championship Runner of the Meet honors. The freshman won the 55-meter dash with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 7.32 and the 200-meter dash with a school and meet record time of 25.97. She also teamed with Chelsea Prophet (Buffalo/daVinci), LaVonne Barfield (Rochester/Wilson Magnet) and Jameieka Price (Niagara Falls/Aviano American) to win the 4x200m relay, while setting a school and meet record with a time of 1:45.65.

Sheehan, a senior criminal justice major, was outstanding in goal for the Bengals in a heartbreaking 2-1 double-overtime loss to Fredonia in the SUNYAC Quarterfinals. He made 41 saves and allowed just two goals in over 82 minutes of play. Sheehan, a three-time All-SUNYAC pick, ended his career with nearly every single season and career goaltending record at Buffalo State.
