Women's Volleyball Falters Twice at New Paltz Invite

NEW PALTZ, NY--Buffalo State (0-12) dropped a pair of straight-game matches against Keuka and SUNY Farmingdale in the first part of the New Paltz Invitational tonight.

Keuka swept the Bengals, 30-21, 30-16 and 30-28 in the opener, despite 10 kills from Katelyn Grew (Lackawanna/Mt. Mercy), and 29 digs by Jennifer McGowan (Batavia/Batavia).

Farmingdale topped Buffalo State, 30-24, 30-27 and 30-28 in the late match. Paige Kaiser (Grand Island/Hammondsport) registered 21 digs, and Allison Suttell (Batavia/Batavia) had 21 assists.

Buffalo State will wrap up play at the New Paltz Invite tomorrow.
