By the time he was 22, Al Stewart had met the Beatles, played John Lennon’s guitar, opened for the Rolling Stones, shared an apartment with Simon & Garfunkel, and recorded with Jimmy Page.
Stewart came to stardom as part of the folk revival of the late-60’s and 70’s, combining folk-rock music with delicately woven tales in hits like “Year Of The Cat,” “Time Passages,” “On The Border,” and “Song On The Radio.” Stewart is currently touring behind his album Uncorked and comes to Buffalo State's Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall, Friday, March 20, at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $15 student rush (valid student ID required, one per person, available one hour prior to showtime at the Rockwell Hall box office); $27 for faculty and staff; $27 for seniors; and $30-$35 general admission and available by phone at (716) 878-3005, online, and at the Rockwell Hall box office.
