Alumni Association Hosts Darien Lake Picnic

The Alumni Association will host a picnic for the Buffalo State community on Saturday, June 20, at Darien Lake Amusement Park.

"We work hard to provide fun and exciting ways for alumni, faculty, and staff to connect," said Katelyn Brickhouse, alumni events coordinator. "The discounted tickets offer a cost-effective way for family and friends to enjoy the summer and interact with Buffalo State."

From the kid-friendly rides and slides at Splashtown to the daredevil thrill of the new Rolling Thunder rollercoaster, Darien Lake’s attractions have appeal for every age group. More than 60 alumni, family, and friends attended last year's event. 

The Alumni Association encourages guests to enjoy Darien Lake’s rides and entertainment any time during regular park hours (10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.), then join fellow Buffalo State alumni for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person and include entrance to the park, parking passes, and wrist bands for the picnic pavilion. Registration is open through Wednesday, June 10.
