Alumni Association Seeks Nominations for Young Alumnus Achievement Award
The Buffalo State College Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its new Young Alumnus Achievement Award. The award will recognize recent alumni (graduates within the past 15 years) who have a demonstrated record of achievement since their graduation from Buffalo State.
Candidates should demonstrate:
Candidates may be nominated by alumni, faculty, staff, emeriti, alumni chapters, students and friends of the college. Self nominations are also acceptable.
Each year, the award will be given to at least one and not more than four awards at a special reception in conjunction with Homecoming Weekend. All nominations will remain active for three years. Awards will not be given posthumously.
The deadline for nominations for the first award is Friday, August 9.

- Outstanding involvement in community service, civic affairs, humanitarian efforts and philanthropic support
- Loyalty or distinguished service to Buffalo State College
