Alumni in the News: Kevin McMullen

As president and CEO of Western New York-based indie video game company Oogie Games, Kevin McMullen, '07, knows something about "first-player wins." Since he graduated from Buffalo State with a degree in business administration, McMullen has taken Oogie Games from a small start-up to a major retailer in just a few short years.

Based on his experiences as a Buffalo native and study of business, McMullen knew how to assay the local market. "I know Buffalo is price-conscious," McMullen told the Buffalo News. "My mom and grandmother clipped coupons every Sunday. We try to lean on that, and we want to do everything we can to keep our prices at or below everybody else."
