Becker Named Men's Basketball SUNYAC Co-Player of the Week
Buffalo State's Joshua Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) was named the Men's Basketball SUNYAC Co-Player of the Week today.
Faced with a must-win situation Saturday at Cortland, the senior forward poured in 26 points and grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds to lead the Bengals to a 75-66 victory which nailed down a berth into the SUNYAC Tournament. In three games during the week, Becker averaged 18.0 points and 9.7 rebounds.
Becker will lead Buffalo State in the SUNYAC Quarterfinals tomorrow night at Potsdam. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
