Beiter Captures ECAC Weekly Honors
Buffalo State's Liz Beiter (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) added ECAC Upstate Pitcher of the Week honors to her credit, after receiving SUNYAC Softball Pitcher of the Week status earlier in the week.
The senior posted a 4-0 record with a 0.72 ERA, while limiting the opposition to a .198 batting average in Ft. Myers, FL. In 25 innings of work, she registered nine strikeouts, while walking just one batter and allowing only five total runs. Beiter earned victories against Lasell, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, New England and Lawrence.
Beiter and the Bengals are currently 5-5 and are scheduled to play at Penn State Behrend on March 30.
