Beiter Named SUNYAC Softball Pitcher of the Week
Buffalo State's Liz Beiter (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) was named the SUNYAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.
The senior posted a 4-0 record with a 0.72 ERA, while limiting the opposition to a .198 batting average in Ft. Myers, FL. In 25 innings of work, she registered nine strikeouts, while walking just one batter and allowing only five total runs. Beiter earned victories against Lasell, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, New England and Lawrence.
Beiter and the Bengals are currently 5-5 and are scheduled to play at Penn State Behrend on March 30.
